Bio: Farning, Shirley (Named in Who’s Who – 1959) ----Source: Abbotsford Tribune (Abbotsford, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday, 14 May 1959 Miss Shirley Farning was among four students of Northland College, Ashland, named in this year’s publication, “Who’s Who,” in American Colleges and Universities. She was also on the dean’s honor list at the annual honors convocation May 6. Miss Farning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Farning, is a senior at the college.
