----Tetzloff, Augusta (Marriage – 10 Sept. 1897)

Yesterday afternoon, Sept. 10, 1897, an interesting marriage ceremony was performed at the German Lutheran church by the pastor, Rev. J. Fiehler. The contracting parties were Mr. August Wartgow and Miss Augusta Tetzloff. There was a large attendance at the church. After the ceremony all repaired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Tetzloff, parents of the bride, where the event was celebrated in true German manner, with plenty to eat and drink, and a general good time. The young couple will reside in the town of Butternut on the farm of the groom, who is one of our prosperous and highly esteemed farmers.
